Built by Physicians, for Physicians

We understand the crushing burden of administrative work because we've lived it. Synaipse was founded to give healthcare providers their time back — so they can focus on what matters most: patient care.

Empowering Independent Practices to Thrive

Independent medical practices are the backbone of American healthcare. They provide personalized, community-centered care that patients value and trust. But they're drowning in paperwork.

Every hour spent on prior authorizations, insurance appeals, and phone tag is an hour taken away from patients. We believe technology should solve this — not add to the burden.

Synaipse is building the automation layer that lets independent practices compete with large health systems, without sacrificing their autonomy or their patients' experience.

Patient Care First

Every feature we build is measured by one metric: does it give clinicians more time with patients?

Practice Independence

We protect and strengthen independent practices — they deserve enterprise-grade tools without enterprise complexity.

Physician-Led Design

Our founders are practicing physicians. We build what we'd want to use — nothing more, nothing less.

Meet the Founders

Two neurosurgeons who got tired of spending more time on paperwork than patients.

Co-Founder

Neurosurgeon, MD

A board-certified neurosurgeon with extensive experience in both academic medicine and private practice. Frustrated by the administrative burden consuming the practice, he set out to build the automation platform he wished existed.

From Frustration to Innovation

Synaipse was born out of a simple observation: the physicians spending the most time in medical school learning to care for patients were now spending the majority of their day fighting insurance companies and navigating EHR systems.

As practicing neurosurgeons in Cincinnati, our founders saw this firsthand. Prior authorizations that took hours. Appeals that went unworked. Patients waiting on hold. Staff burning out. Revenue slipping through the cracks.

"We didn't go to medical school to become full-time administrators. We started Synaipse because we believed AI could handle the paperwork so we could get back to medicine."

— Synaipse Founders

The healthcare industry has seen countless technology "solutions" that add complexity instead of removing it. We're building the opposite: a unified automation layer that works invisibly alongside your existing systems, handling the tedious work so your team doesn't have to.

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Synaipse is currently in private beta with select practices. We're focused on revenue cycle management for our MVP, with plans to expand across the full spectrum of practice automation.

Our vision is simple: every independent practice deserves the operational efficiency of a large health system, without sacrificing what makes them special — the personal touch, the community connection, the focus on patients over profits.

The Name Behind the Mission

Syn Synapse
pse Synapse

Synaipse is a portmanteau of Synapse — the junction between two neurons — and AI (Artificial Intelligence). The name pays homage to the specialty of our co-founders, both neurosurgeons, and to the neural networks that inspire our technology.

Just as a synapse facilitates the transmission of vital signals in the brain, Synaipse facilitates the transmission of data through the complex "nervous system" of healthcare administration.

Our name captures our core mission: acting as the intelligent connection between clinical intent and administrative execution. Every referral, authorization, claim, and appeal is a signal that needs to reach the right place at the right time — and Synaipse makes that happen automatically.

Ready to Take Back Your Time?
